SCEAP update for Lockdown

SCEAP has taken the decision to keep everyone safe and follow the current guidelines of the government. So, we are not seeing anyone face to face until the lockdown finishes.

We are not just letting the grass grow, during this difficult time! We are reflecting, reviewing and growing all the time. The herd are enjoying the warm weather, the Spring sunshine and each other's company. They are all keeping well and Maggie and Dan are spending time with them, enjoying the peace and calm that covers the farm. They are rocking their lockdown hairdos!

The flowers around the yurt are looking amazing, thanks to Christine for her care of them. Maggie is writing programmes ready for when we open again. We have been contacted by Country Trust with a view to offering support to the children in the local community by providing Nurture groups for them. We are concerned for everyone's mental health and we are here to help.

We understand that our regular visitors are finding this time apart very difficult. We are doing welfare checks where we can, via phone, email and Zoom. Please do get in touch if you would like some support. You can reach Maggie on 077 1950 9061, Maggie@sceap.co.uk. We are a community project and we want to reach out to anyone who is struggling in our community.

We are here for you, the herd is resting and will be fully charged, ready for action once we can meet up. In the meantime, if we can help at all, please do get in touch.

Please stay safe and stay well.
