Connecting with horses

SCEAP team had the privilege of witnessing connections of the heart when Scotia Residential brought some residents to visit The Herd again.

One of the residents used to own a horse, so to be near the horses, to breathe with them, smell their coat and feel their breath was a truly beautiful experience for her. The horses were kind, gentle and curious about our visitors and everyone left feeling calmer and more peaceful.

We all created some special memories in the barn for the residents to take home and remember their special time with us. The Scotia staff were amazing as they really helped to make sure the residents had the best time with us.
