SCEAP offers Asdan Course in Animal Care

The SCEAP Team are delighted to become an accredited Asdan Centre and will be providing a short course in Animal Care.

This course will cover working on the farm with the herd, the Shetland ponies, the goats, guineau pigs and chickens. It will involve hands on practical activities, aimed at caring for all types of animals. Learners will be able to complete the course in a suitable time frame for their abilities. Their learning will be about completing challenges, learning new skills and developing according to the individual. These will be recorded in a variety of ways that match the learner and their abilities.

The team includes an experienced and qualified teacher who will provide 121 support for the young people on the programme.
