Thank you Children In Need

Thanks to the Sky Project from Children In Need we are able to provide Nurture Groups for children aged 8-13 years old.

We invited some pupils from local schools for a four week programme aimed at improving the children's health and wellbeing. We were so fortunate as we had gorgeous weather for St. Mary's when they visited us.

The children met The Herd, they spent time grooming them, they painted the stones in our Healing Circle, using symbolic language (symbols that have significant meaning), they decorated small stones to take with them, spent time being creative in the barn, they fed the pygmy goats and cuddled our guinea pigs. At the end of their time with us, they very respectfully approached our herd and connected with each horse, acknowledging the calmness and peace they felt at the farm.

We had a fabulous time together.
